How do you donote a Constituency Code as the 'Primary' Constituency

Options

Hi,

This is my 1st forum post as I am reletively new to Raiser's Edge(6 months usage).  I work for The Fire Fighters Charity in the UK and we use RE 7.92. How is the 'Primary' constituency code denoted in RE? Is it just dictated by being in position 1 on the bio 2 tab or is there some other clever way of marking a constituency code as the Primary if a constituent has multiple constituency codes?

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

John - use the search box above on the website to search for "primary constituency" - this has been discussed and even recenly I shared a knowledgebase solution about primary constituency.

    Welcome, John.

You'll learn that sometimes your questions can be answered by a search on the forums or knowledgebase, but if you can't find the answer don't be afraid to post.

If you did a search, you may have found your answer already.  Yes, RE determines primary by position 1except when....  The posts Melissa is referencing get into the conditions when that isn't the case due to using the date fields and having a date to that is past.  As most of our constituency only have a "date from" I found querying when the "date to" became a factor a bit confusing at first.
