Position Description Organization: San Francisco General Hospital Foundation Job Title: Annual Fund Coordinator Reports to: Director of Development ORGANIZATION San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, whose mission is to promote research, education and care for all at San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, has an immediate opening for an Annual Fund Coordinator. Nearly 100,000 patients are treated at The General annually. A comprehensive medical center, The General provides quality health care with compassion and respect to patients that include some of the city's most vulnerable. The General is also the only provider of trauma (Level 1) and 24-hour psychiatric emergency services for 1.5 million residents in San Francisco and northern San Mateo County. In addition, The General is one of the nation's top tertiary academic medical centers conducting clinical training and research. JOB SUMMARY The Annual Fund Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing the annual individual giving campaign for donors up to $1,000, including planning, coordinating and executing direct-mail, email, online, and social media appeals; conducting analysis of the effectiveness of campaigns and appeals; and supporting the execution of the major gift program (gifts of $1,000 or more) with the Director of Development and the Development Officer for Individual Giving to build a strong pipeline of prospects through donor acquisition and retention.
