Queue Service doesn't run for import

 We tried creating queues for imports but the queues just don't run!  It is very frustrating.  Years ago, when we first implemented the service queues (for exports) we run into a few issues and solved by creating a machine for this single purpose. We also created a dedicated user to have the queues run under. 

 

Now we are interested in extending the queues to "import".  Any help would be great.  I did read a lot of documents pertaining to the queues.

We have been unable to get Queue to run for custom reports so I feel you pain.

Do you have Import-o-matic? I could be making things up but I thought I heard somewhere that you can schedule imports through IOM.
