 The Rwanda Ministry of Health has prioritized the development of the eLearning and Telemedicine Program for Physicians. The program contains two interdependent work streams: content generation and infrastructure deployment. The latter requires the development of a standardized model for in-hospital network infrastructure and video conferencing technology capabilities at 48 district and referral hospitals.  This standardized model will support identification and procurement of needed equipment, rapid on-site deployment, and remote management processes and tools for the network environment from a central site.



At the request of the Ministry, CHAI will support the design and implementation of this program. Thus, the CHAI Rwanda program is seeking a highly motivated, adaptable project manager. This position requires someone with mastery of planning, prioritization, partner coordination, and strong problem-solving skills. In addition to having prior experience in telemedicine infrastructure deployment and a broad base of eHealth technical knowledge, candidates must be an excellent communicator, culturally sensitive, and able to anticipate the needs of government and private sector counterparts. The ability to manage unrelated tasks while driving multiple work plans forward is essential. Qualified candidates must exhibit a passion for results and commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:

The project manager will oversee the design and implementation of all technical aspects of the eLearning and Telemedicine Program for Physicians. Specifically, the project manager's responsibilities are as follows:

Develop program strategic plan, including comprehensive requirements based on established use cases

Work with selected technical experts and vendors/suppliers to develop and document the specifications for video conferencing equipment and network infrastructure to support the telemedicine and eLearning program

Create and maintain overall project schedule
