Temple Emanu-El, Dallas, Texas Title: Membership Data Administrator Department: Membership Reports to: Membership Services Director Hours: full-time; 40 hours per week Position Summary: The Membership Data Administrator is responsible for the administration, management and maintenance of the database so as to best service our membership. This position works closely with our Membership Department utilizing technology to enhance our members' connection to Temple Emanu-El. Experience in database management and literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel are required; knowledge of Blackbaud is strongly preferred. This person must be able to maintain confidentiality, work with empathy toward others, and have exceptional interpersonal skills, working cooperatively with staff and members. Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously and manage deadlines is also essential. Key Responsibilities: This will be the person that can vision, along with the database user group, the best way to leverage Temple's ongoing database needs so that we can connect better with our members. Our goal is to get to know our members better, store and be able to track what we learn about them, and simplifying processes enhancing their membership experience. This person will be responsible for overall administration, management, and maintenance of the database, with strong involvement in the web applications. This person will create and implement processes that will ensure that the database is accurate, secure, and used properly by staff. This person will assess needs for training and will implement training when appropriate. Initial OCC implementation and project management will be shared with the Membership Services Director.
