Events and the participant note feature

Hi, I am trying to write a crystal report that will pull the notes (not comments) from the participant record within the event module. Granted I am still learning crystal but I believe my issue is in the export section...I can't seem to locate how to 'export' that particular note section (not the comment line - has it has limits on characters.). Any advice or suggestions on how I can pull this into crystal would be greatly appreciated. All my best, Jeannine

Hi Jeannine,

You are correct that it needs to start with the export.  Make sure you are creating a participant export.  Under output, Notes is one of the main field choices.  Make sure you are exporting the file as a "Blackbaud Report Writer Database (MDB)."  Then all of the fields you should should be available when you bring the database into Crystal Reports.
