Data and Prospect Development Officer, McLean Hospital (Belmont, MA)

The officer will be part of a dynamic 15-person staff raising $10-$15 million annually at McLean Hospital, a Harvard-affiliated psychiatric research and teaching hospital located on a beautiful 200-acre campus just west of Boston. The officer will play an integral role in the identification and management of prospects for McLean through its grateful patient network, working with the major gift team and operations staff. Responsibilities include the strategic management and day-to-day operations of Raiser's Edge, serving as the point person for import and export of data, database maintenance and monitoring data quality. S/he will develop and manage fundraising performance reports from Raiser's Edge as appropriate. S/he will lead prospect development initiatives including all prospect research efforts, organizing and tracking requests, conducting primary research, and disseminating and documenting research results. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
 Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three or more years in development working with fundraising systems. Exposure to prospect development concepts and experience in prospect research preferred. Solid knowledge of donor databases and complex data management protocols. Experience with Raiser's Edge preferred. Demonstrated ability to use systems and data analytically, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
