Visiting Nurse Association Health Group is seeking a Director of Grants and Foundation relations to lead the effort to develop and grow relationships with foundations and government funders, manage the full grant-seeking process and oversee the stewardship of existing grants to help VNAHG reach its organizational goals. This position provides a way for individuals with strong strategic thinking and communication skills to contribute at a high level in a 100 year old entrepreneurial non-profit home care, hospice and community based care organization. The director of foundation and government relations will report directly to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and will work closely with the organization's CEO.

Overall Job Objectives

Lead VNAHG's foundation and government development effort, which is responsible for securing unrestricted and budget-enhancing revenues in support of VNAHG's general operations, and restricted revenues in support of VNAHG's projects and initiatives. As a member of the senior management team, Director, Foundation and Government is expected to add value across the organization.
