Custom Reports and SQL

Options
I would like to run a Custom CR report that uses a SQL command to get the data. Is this possible somehow? I can set it up in CR, but when I add it as a custom report (with a dummy export) I get an error that the table is missing. Anyone have a workaround for this?

I don't think it's possible.  I've tried something similar with a dummy export and couldn't do it.  If I remember correctly, Blackbaud support confirmed this.

You might want to post this in the Crystal Reports forum, or maybe there's another solution with API or VBA, or something else with a three letter acronym. [8-|]  Or David Zeidman probably has a better answer for you.  http://www.zeidman.info/
