Default sets with conditional logic?

Options

Hello all:

Is it possible to use Default Sets (for individual constituent in particular) with conditional logic?  For example: for donors and fund holders, I would use 'default set A' to predefine their mail preferences, salutations and some attributes.  for volunteers, I would use 'default set B for their preferences, salutations, attributes.   Is this do-able, as long as my constituencies are mutually exclusive?

Interesting idea - the conditional logic.  While you can set as many default sets as you like, I haven't seen anywhere that it can be used with conditional logic.  The Shift+F2 will use last default used so if you're doing a group that would have default set A that function at least makes data entry more efficient.  Or we've created several default constituent batches for different groups that have the preferences and attributes as part of the batch.

Will watch this thread to see if there's a way to use conditional logic - love to learn more efficient ways to use RE.

As far as I know your conditional logic is in the hands of your data entry person. They choose option A or option B. :-)

And that's the ongoing challenge, isn't it?  [:D]
