McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation has an opportunity for a full-time Database Manager in our beautiful city of Petoskey, Michigan!  Visit our website, www.northernhealth.org to apply online. This position will oversee high quality donor research information for meetings, events and strategy planning with senior staff and board members as well as find prospects for future gifts. The Development Associate and Research Specialist reports to the Database Manager.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Philanthropy, Business or equivalent related experience required.

Experience:Minimum of 5 years related experience with computers and database management, Raisers Edge products, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Also prefer experience in philanthropy and management.

Other Job Requirements: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in a written format. Must possess skills in expressing ideas and providing information to others and eliciting same.

• Proficient in Microsoft office software, Raiser's Edge, Crystal Reports and searching on-line databases and the Internet.
• Proficient in database administration, prospect and constituent management, data imports and exports and developing reports.
• Participates in and attends special events as requested. On-call various times of the year and visits donors and/or family members while they are hospitalized at McLaren Northern Michigan as part of our Friend of the Hospital program.
