The Need Today, millions of lives around the world are in the grip of injustice. International Justice Mission (IJM) seeks to make public justice systems work for victims of abuse and oppression who urgently need the protection of the law. IJM is seeking a qualified and energetic professional to help ensure that all IJM capacity building initiatives with public justice system partners are based on solid conceptual and methodological foundations and are designed to be measurable, successful, and sustainable. The successful candidate will be experienced in program design, management, and evaluation in the international development arena; will have led or participated heavily in government-focused capacity building initiatives (in any thematic sector but outside of emergency and immediate post-conflict environments); and will have specific skills and experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of government-focused training initiatives. This position is based at IJM Headquarters in the Washington, DC area with 33% international travel and reports directly to the Director of Program Design & Evaluation.
