In eTapestry is there a way to batch in gifts like you can in Raisers Edge?

    Hi Caroline, 



    Yes as long as you have the advanced import license. If you do, you create an excel *.csv with the information you want to import. You can add new accounts, gifts, contacts and notes as well as update accounts. There is some set-up involved and it is helpful to know if they already exist in your database but once the template is set-up it is really quite smooth.

    Has anyone used this very much? I am afraid to try and create duplicate accounts. Setting it up sounds like a lot of work and only worth it if there a large amount of data to import. Does that seem to be case?
