code 5 error message is the requested method is not allowed

I'm using this in my code:

<input type="hidden" name="method" id="method" value="createOrUpdate" />

and having 'success_redirect' and 'error_redirect' go to a .html results page. I get this error code 5 error message is the requested method is not allowed. Any advice on this? I can place all of the code I'm using if it helps?
