Donations API "Convio API Block"

Hi, i am working on a wordpress widget that integrates the Convio DOantions API.

I have this widget running for 2 clients currently. But on one clients set up preview and real donations are being decliened - every now and again

The error code is 101 and the decline detail changes but is generally "Declined due to Convio IP Block" (both set ups have the Server's IP added as a "secure server")

This is not happening on my other clients install (and the code interacts with the API in the same fashion)

The two differences are::

the client whose code works is on the secure2 cluster. the problem client is on secure3.

the problem client has custom variables set up on the donation from (but when i remove those variables is does not seem to make a difference)

This error seems to come and go (it was working when i was working on this thanksgiving day) -- I don't know if it is because convio is deciding that i am a Spam bot OR the API software differs between the two clusters.

any help i can get resolving these issues would be wonderful.

Any ideas that might help me debug these issues would be great also.

Basically it says that IP Block is if many donations are entered in correctly it will block that IP Address.

1) does someone know if its the server's IP address that is being blocked or my machine's? (i'm using cURL, and setting the user_agent to be the user's as detected by apache)

2) Who can i call at convio to get this resolved in less than 10 minutes?? or how to check that this is actually the problem?
