  • @Crystal Bruce It would be great if I could send the reports using the same function to non-users

  • @Crystal Bruce It is great to be able to share reports with others who request them--Now to get others to know what to look for and access the report ? But hopefully these new changes will get those who SHOULD be using NXT onto NXT!!
It would also be great if we could share PDFs to non users via an email share.

  • @Crystal Bruce That’s pretty cool. As the main person creating reports at our organization, I really like that I can tailor access so different users can focus on exactly what they need. In the database view, we have used the database view home screen to organize our favorites. I wonder if something similar will be developed for the web view? Similar to the favorite queries tile and reports that are shared could also show up in a tile for favorite standard reports.

  • @Crystal Bruce I shared the AG Cash Dollars Report with the Annual Giving team - they loved it

  • @Crystal Bruce Sharing the report wasn't as intuitive to me as I expected. I thought I was sharing so someone could run it so I looked under Edit first. But it's really about sharing the completed output from a recent run. I'd rename it ‘Runs Shared with Me'. I was able to share the output with a team member in the end.

I agree with @Carol Ewart that it wasn't intuitive to find how to share, but it is very helpful. I'm creating a report of donors of $1k or more last week, scheduling it so it runs each Monday morning and then sharing it with the gifts processor. She can then retrieve the report each Monday morning and email it to leadership staff.

The ability to schedule email delivery automatically within RE (without having to use Power Automate) would really take this functionality over the top!

I'm hopeful that Queue in the Unified View will resolve this issue, but it would be nice not to have to pay for Queue in order to send reports via email.

  • @Crystal Bruce I always like the option to share reports.
