Greetings! I'm from Western University of Health Sciences, a private, non-profit, graduate-only, health sciences-only university based in eastern Los Angeles County with a second campus in central Oregon. We are in our fourth year of using BAM and loving it! A fun fact about me is that I'm a regular platelet donor with the American Red Cross, and I'm closing in on my 200th donation!

Thank you for starting this thread. I am from Johns Hopkins University, Arts & Sciences and Engineering. We are located in Baltimore, Maryland and are just rounding out our second cycle using BAM. Each cycle we have learned new functionality and look forward to continue learning and improving how we use BAM. I would be interested in participating in a BAM User group to hear more about what others find as joys and challenges of the system.

Hello and good morning, everyone! I have been using Academic Works for over 2 years now. I am the Director of Donor Relations, Scholarship and Endowment Administration at Morehouse College. We are still adjusting and getting to know this system. This will be our first year using the renewal process. Although I have worked in higher education for over 18 years, I am new to Institutional Advancement/Development. In my role, I send out the annual report to donors including student profiles, pics, and thank you letter. On the student side, I meet with them at least once a semester to see how things are going and to be a reference for them. I like to invite other departments to our meetings so they can answer any questions. Fun fact: I LOVE sports, especially college football and basketball. In addition, I watch the NFL and NBA.

Hello! I am an Assistant Director of Annual Giving at University of Detroit Mercy, a Jesuit university here in the city of Detroit. We are in our third year with Award and Stewardship Management. I collaborate with Financial Aid in working with our scholarship recipients and how they utilize post acceptance in AM and am responsible for ensuring that our scholarship donors are stewarded. I have been using both programs for thank you messages and annul reports for the past two years. Fun fact about me: I worked in this same position at Detroit Mercy in the mid 90s, left for over 20 years to raise my kids, and came back five years ago - and our VP and I grew up on the same block!

Hello!
Lindley Davis, with Appalachian State University. I'm the system administrator and oversee implementation and training. We've been using BAM since 2020 to centralize our application and award management process across 8 colleges/units.
We're in Western NC, so much of my time is spent outdoors. I love hiking, snowboarding, and whitewater kayaking. My ride-or-die is my shelter dog, Otis Redding.

Hey everyone!
Brady Adcox, Assistant Controller for the Florida State University Foundation. I've been the System Administrator for our BAM solution for about 3 years now. I coordinate Cycle Management for FSU, oversee all system changes, and process offers to recipients across all of our colleges. We have a separate Assistant Director of Donor Relations that oversees the Stewardship component.
I'm originally from Pensacola, FL but attended FSU for Undergrad and always wanted to work for my University so here I am. When I'm not working, I dabble in DIY home improvement, training for half marathons, and hanging out with my wife and our hairy, barking bundle of joy.
