Has anyone used Award Management for early admissions / integration with SLATE?

Hi,

We have finally gotten Award Management up and running across our admissions, Financial aid, and Scholarship office with integration with Finance and its been fantastic! The only hole we have left in the process is the pre-admission award packages for freshman applicants, who are not in Banner.

I was thinking it would be cool if we could load them from SLATE into awards management and then add Banner ID to their application record when they were admitted so the integration to banner would work and everyone could use award management for awards.

has anyone else tackled this with Awards Management? Would love to talk to you if you have.

    @Gina Bennett we are a Peoplesoft school, and we use Slate too. Our admitted freshman students for fall 2023 (for example) do get loaded in our import file from Slate to PS and then to BB AM. Those opportunities on our site that have a qualification group with an admit term equal to our fall 2023 code get put in the applicant pool for those incoming freshman opportunities if all other criteria are met such as HS GPA, etc. I'd be happy to chat more about this on a call or email if that would be helpful too.     AppState is hoping to do the same thing in the near future. We haven't worked out a good way to make it happen yet. Following this thread in case anyone else has cracked the code!

    I'll reach out if we make any headway.
