@Crystal Bruce We use Tribute functionality quite heavily. I'm disappointed that the tile in web view does not offer the ability to view gifts (even summary into) that have been made to the tribute directly from the tribute record as is currently available in DB view. That is a loss of functionality that we use quite a bit. Reports, either in PDF or CSV format seem to take quite a while to generate.

@Crystal Bruce I love being able to access and update the tributes in web view. I have a query I review of all our recent online tributes and this now allows me to open each tribute and mark or unmark the needed acknowledgees. I easily create memorial tributes all the time from our online donors who combine constituents in one record that I have to split into two. I do wish I could view or add any notes made on a tribute record; for that I still have to hop into DB view currently.

@Crystal Bruce This is a great start - it's very easy to add a tribute. I wish I could add a new relationship at the same time, or add notes so that I could indicate more information (since we sometimes have complex acknowledge situations)

This does make it easy to view the tributes, but as others have mentioned, it would be more useful if it had a link to the tribute gift record.

@Crystal Bruce I find it cumbersome working with tributes and the myriad ways people spell and misspell a name.

Not sure how they are counted towards record counts, but we have many one-off tribute gifts that add to our record count that are no longer valid. If they are marked as inactive do they count toward our record counts for contract purposes?

@Crystal Bruce Easy and intuitive to add the honor/tribute. Hopefully this functionality will also be in batch so it can be added ad the time we add the gift.

@Crystal Bruce Like others I find tributes frustrating. Entering the tribute in the gift is pretty straight foward, but there's nothing easy about seeing this information in anyone's record. We should be able to look at a donor's record and see in the Tribute tile that they have given a tribute gift and who it is in tribute to; and we should be able to look at the tribute's record and see in the tribute tile who has given in tribute to them.

@Crystal Bruce It's helpful anytime we can review a constituent's record and get a quick snapshot of all the ways they've engaged with us. This Tribute tile is helpful because it gives us yet another space to do this. Now we'll know more about their external connections and relationships, as well as their motivation for giving.

@Crystal Bruce This is a function we are newly using. It is helpful for us to be able to track honorarium gifts so that we can then thank family members.

@Crystal Bruce I like that I can record the same things in the Tribute set up as I could in database view so we can track acknowledgements, but I don't like that I can't see the gifts linked to the Tribute like you could in database view.

@Crystal Bruce - In Memory of was the tribute I created. It's a very simple process, but I agree with others that it isn't all that useful without being able to view gifts linked to the tribute.

@Crystal Bruce Found the tribute tile, entered a new tribute, selected “In Honor of” from the list of three, I described it, I found the Fund that was related to the gift, start date, and since there were no acknowledgees, I selected a new one from the list provided.

@Crystal Bruce I entered a basic tribute In Honor Of with the tile, but we currently don't use the tribute function very heavily since we are currently dependent on Luminate Forms.
I do wish the list of tributes in the tile had more information than just “In Honor of” or “In Memory of” and the name of the donor without having to click the drop-down menu.

I used in “honor of” since our Giving Day is in September. It was easy to use.

@Crystal Bruce We have used this functionality since our implementation. It's very important that we can track this as most of our donors apply IMO or IHO to their gifts. However, still waiting for the ability to see the gifts that are linked to the Tribute (as in DB view).

The tribute tile helps when it is time to send thank you letters or other acknowledgements. It also helps with calls because we can use it as a talking point.

However, as other users have asked, how do we see gifts given to the tributes the way we can in database view?
