MFA - A barrier for anyone else?

Options

Hi All! Curious if the implementation of multi-factor authentication has been a barrier for anyone else. We have a number of users who are unable to access the site because of MFA.

A few examples: 1) We have a program for 9th grade students. Not all of these students have a phone. 2) Many of the students who use our site attend high schools where they are not allowed to have their cell phone out or with them at school. Their counselors want these students to be able to work on applications at school but they cannot because they cannot access their cell phones to receive the authentication code. 3) We work with some reivewers and references who do not have cell phones or other mobile devices. They are unable to log in to the site.

Anyone else facing this? Ideas on a work around? I also submitted a support ticket to see if Blackbaud can work on another option. Chime in if that would be helpful for you!

We need another option for MFA that is not cell phone based or requires the purchase of a specific device to simply access the site.
