Added a room to a location, but I can't seem to choose it?

Options

Our property seems to have a huge wealth of naming opportunities, and a specific room in one of our buildings is now named. I've added the room within the location configurator, but I cannot seem to “choose” it when creating a new event or editing an existing one? Specifically, I don't see a “room field”.

I consulted this help file - but I am still lost.

    Sounds like you are looking for the Locations table. When you build Scheduled Programs in Altru, the Location is the field name. You can find it under the Ticketing or Event sections of Altru.

  • @Rosita Bradham - I think I see the issue - looks like the room/unit option is only available for actual events (like fundraisers), and not program events. That's kind of ridiculous, but in this case I guess I should just add the room as a new location?

    @Jon Wysong - If you are looking for place where Altru list locations available to schedule programs, then the Locations table is it. That room/unit is for a completely different purpose, so not ridiculous, you're just in the wrong area.

    The Special Event Window shows the option to choose a room….why not the other module?

    @Rosita Bradham - I wasn't looking for a list of locations (you are correct in that the location table is where it's located) - I was looking to apply a room/unit that I had added to said location in a series of program events. What is ridiculous to me is that the room/unit field is only applicable to one type of event and cannot be chosen for all types of programs or events. See screenshots. Either way, it looks like I will have to add the room as a new location in the table because I cannot choose the room for ticketed programs.
