Setting up FE, RE NXT and BBAM. Im wondering how everyone else has this set up? I don't want to copy information across three platforms so what data should be kept where. Hoping someone might have 30 mins and can show me there set up?

  • @Andrew Jupp Hi Andrew, are you still looking for help with this? Let me know and I can see what I can do on my end!

  • @Crystal Bruce We have all three systems set up, yet I feel the information stored in each could be better managed. I am currently trying to set up the Stewardship section in Award Management, which has led to me querying where best to store certain types of data, and without using the stewardship side, I'm unsure of precisely what important information I should bring across. I was hoping to contact another organization that has all three up and running to take a quick glance and hopefully get a better understanding. There aren't any instructor led training session for award management unfortunately.

If you have a LearnMore subscription, I'd start with the Stewardship Management courses (both the eLearning and the instructor-led). I think that will help clarify what data from RE NXT and FE NXT are needed in Stewardship Management.

Typically RE NXT is the system of record for donor information, and basic donor contact information is imported into Stewardship (BBSM) to allow you to communicate with donors from BBSM. FE NXT is the system of record for fund performance data, and you only need to import into BBSM those fields you'd include on a donor report (i.e. Beginning Market Value, Gifts, Distributions, Ending Market Value, etc.). Most institutions report annually so you'd only need to import it annually, but can do it more frequently if you want.

There are some required fields for each of these imports, after that, which fields you bring over is up to you.

These tasks guides might help as well:
    Set up your stewardship system
Work with fund and contact imports
