In the past, we calculated need based on EFC and used a tiered system for high, low, and moderate need. These tiers were used as qualifications for our need-based scholarships. With the FAFSA changes and SAI craziness, we're having to re-think how we identify financial need. Curious how other institutions are navigating this. Has anyone else had to determine need levels and care to share their process?

    hmm, we were going to just continue as normal in matching against Pell eligible students for those that require high need. But interested to see what others will do.
