Search Bar Not Working
As of yesterday (Jan 17), the search bar on the main landing page when you log in as an administrator no longer works. There's a dropdown that appears, that did not used to. But you can't click on any of the options in the dropdown, I haven't found a keystroke to select one, and pressing enter does nothing. We can obviously navigate using the Opportunity dropdown for what we need, but it is sure slowing us down. Is anyone else encountering this issue?

We are also experiencing this issue. Contacted BBAM Support yesterday morning to make a case, support advised they will reach out once it's resolved. Have not heard back, hoping for a resolution soon. Never realized how much I rely on this search bar to do my daily tasks!

@Alanna Shockley - We're experiencing this issue too. I checked here to see if anyone else was after I couldn't get through to BBAM Support. Hoping it's resolved soon - like Jonathan, I didn't realize just how much I use the search bar each day until now!

@Jennifer Comppen and @Jonathan Blevins we sure did not realize how much we rely on the search function. It's actually a really quick way for us to look up Student IDs with just an email too. We are definitely missing it, and yes, hope it is resolved soon!

We are having the same issues here and it is slowing me down in Advancement and my colleague in Financial Aid. She reached out to BB yesterday and got this response:
Hi Jessica, Thank you for reporting this. We were made aware of an active site wide defect that is causing functionality issues with the Omni Search bar on the dashboard page. A defect request has been submitted to our engineering team and they will be working to further research and resolve. We do not have an ETA at this time of a resolution. I will link your support case to that defect request and we will update you once a resolution is confirmed.
Then they offered some work arounds for her to find the info she needed. Sigh…..

Hi, @Jonathan Blevins, @Alanna Shockley, @Jennifer Comppen, @LisaJane Braconnier, @Michele GuyorBorthwick! The Award Management product & development teams are aware of this bug, and are actively working to get this resolved as soon as possible. They are hopeful to have this addressed by the end of the week.
As mentioned above, workarounds for searching are available though they are manual: to access the Opportunities Grid, Admins can to Opportunity – Portfolios – Opportunities; or to access All Portfolios, select Opportunity – Portfolios – All and search by keyword.2 -

@Lindley Davis @Jonathan Blevins, our developers are working hard to get this resolved & it is a high priority for them to get this resolved quickly. In the meantime, tap in to your Opportunities Grid as a workaround. If there are some specific use cases you'd like some tips on, please reach out to Support to help walk through your scenario to find the most efficient workaround to keep your productivity up. We don't want this to be a blocker for you and know that your time is valuable, especially during awarding season.
