Connecting Award Management with NXT

We recently changed from RE7 to NXT but have had BBAM for a few years now. One of the reasons that we changed was because of the ability to integrate BBAM and NXT. I went into the marketplace and downloaded the BBAM to NXT integration and have everything connected. (Both BBAM Connection Status and RE NXT Connection status are showing connected). I'm working on the “Fund Tile Settings” and using the “Fund auxiliary code” to link the awards to our funds in NXT. They were originally using “Fund Auxiliary code” to specify whether the awards were entrance, exit, enrolled, etc. I've gone in and changed all these with the actual funds from NXT. But when you “Select BBAM type to base the fund matching on:, it is not bringing up the new info that I entered but still bringing up the old info. I have hit “refresh” and waiting for the next day but still nothing changed.

I've asked Blackbaud and they told me to contact Letterbox. Letterbox seems to only answer later at night when I'm not working. (I'm assuming it is because of the time zone). This is taking up too much of my time and no training at all. I'm hoping someone can help!!

Letterbox is Australian so they can be hard to reach. I had to connect all the funds by hand (270+ of them) in the fund tile settings but it all seemed to work. Now it will show the funds that are disbursed on the fund page on NXT which is kind of fun… if it wasn't like completely impossible to get to the Fund pages on RE NXT!!!! I wish Letterbox would hook Financial Edge to AM instead of RE.

I have not connected the recipient sync settings though, I'm not positive I want all of my offered candidates in there--what if they don't end up attending! Lol.

PS I have noticed that funds that aren't encumbered somehow won't refresh, so I have to award a fund in order for it to pull.

Thanks for the info Kylea. We finally got BBAM and RXT connected and I'm anxious to see how it works. We were told that if a student gets an award, it will show up in the donors file, is this correct?

Depends on what you mean by the donors file? Right now it pulls into a tile on the FUND record in RE NXT which is hard to get to.
