Email notifications going to Spam

Does anyone else have the issue where emails sent from BAM go to Spam? Our reviewers and students all report having their BAM emails sent to Spam. Has anyone found how to avoid this?

  • @Ann-lise Fitting, we had this issue when we first started using BAM. We worked with our university IT service to have messages from Blackbaud added to the university's server-side “allowlist” so that messages from BAM bypass the Office365 filter.

  • @Ann-lise Fitting Yes we've had that issue when we first set up the software and again this cycle when we switched our domain name. It's a DMARC compliance issue, you'll have to get your IT folks involved. There's info from Blackbaud here on how to resolve it.
