Log In Screen

Options

Hi, I am sure I am not the first one to ask this but has anyone figured out a work around for the log in screen for reviewers. Reviewers often times log into the incorrect portal.. then try to reset their password, get locked out all because they miss the references tab at the top. Anyone else have this issue?

  • We have this issue as well. I don't have a solution to get around the screen, but I try to be very intentional about sharing the direct link to the “references and reviewers” tab i.e.

This helps, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has a better system.

  • glad to hear we weren't the only one with this issue. I spent an hour with support last week and they reconfigured and reworded our sign in page to make it clearer for reviewers. This was done under site, settings, custom text, applicant and admin sign in instructions.

  • Scott, it's insightful to learn we can use a direct link to the references and reviewers tab! Thank you for sharing this. I just tried it for my institution, and it works nicely.

  • We always have a handful of references/reviewers who log in on the student tab rather than the correct Reviewer/Reference tab. I think they see the SSO option and just automatically do that even though BBAM isn't really our institution's system. Last year we made the move to use the Remote Identity Import so that we can upload our faculty members into the system and then it doesn't matter which tab they sign in on - effectively looks like/acts like SSO. For external people they have no choice but to sign in on the Ref/Rev tab and if they log into the system as a student, you have to get it fixed by BBAM folks.

  • I didn't know you can link directly to that tab! Initially we couldn't and we have been asking to be able to do that for awhile. Yippee!!

  • It worked for me too! Thank you!

  • @Scott Skowronek I know this is an old thread but we've come across an issue. We do send the direct link to R&R but if they click on the LOGIN, the next landing page defaults to A&A :( Seems like a programming issue on the back-end
