Work-around to hide some import data from reviewers

Options

Hi everyone! We have one particular scholarship program that requires that two pieces of our import file are not visible to our reviewers. These are very common indicators and I definitely need our other administrators to see these data points, but I also need to find a way to keep those two things hidden from the committee reviewing for this specific program. Any recommendations/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  • Hello Bailey!

To deal with this, we use the “Visibility based on Opportunity settings," which will allow you to toggle visible information for reviewers - super handy. Reviewer_visibility1.pdf

Attached is a link to my notes on this process and here is the BB Knowledgebase article.

The BB article does not go over how to set an import item to opportunity-based visibility, so you will want to follow my notes and then follow the instructions in the article. I've requested they update this, but it seems to be pending…

    I hope this helps!

P.S. It's a super handy tool, but be warned that when a question/ import is set on the opportunity level, this question/ import is automatically turned off, so you will have to turn it on for each opportunity. But, you should be able to do this en masse by following the article instructions.
