  • I do not believe we ask for gender on our applications. Instead we ask for their pronouns. This is because someone may be a transwoman, non-binary, etc. but not want to make it 'official' or traceable by a family member who may happen upon their information on the family computer. Or it could simply be that they are trans, etc. and just not want to use other pronouns than those given to them at birth. I believe we give them the common ones (she/her, he/his, they/them) but allow an 'other' option where they can put their own in. The response to this question is optional.
