Importing Scheduled Program Event Registrants

Has anyone been able to import event registrants for a scheduled program event? I've only ever done it for a special event, and am having issues getting the import process to work for a scheduled program event, since the fields don't necessarily match (Price type/ticket type vs Registration option, etc)

You can only do an import when there's a batch template available, and there's no template for Scheduled Program Events. Registrants have to be added manually by processing sales orders through Daily or Advance Sales. Bummer, I know!
