Ticketing vs Attended

Options
We are doing scheduled ticketed entry for visitors in order to maintain a certain number of guests.  However when people scan their ticket in it still shows the constituent as not attended on the program event page.  Is there a way to link a ticket being scanned in to mean they attended the event?

  • Hello Kress,

As of yet, I don't think Altru has linked "scanned ticket" to mean "marked as attended." You could create a report/query to show what tickets have been sold and which have been scanned (include scanned date), or if you want to get admission numbers via marked as attended, you could:
    • Have Altru mobile check-in loaded on phones/ipads at your welcome center : https://www.kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/65696
    • Use the "Preregistered program check in" option, which is under the "Sales" tab on your Altru site. This is what our gallery ambassadors found easiest to use; they have this open and check people in by name rather than scanning tickets. It's been a win-win since our scanner doesn't always catch the barcode either.
    • Use a scanned ticket report to go back and mark people as attended after the fact, either using the "Preregistered program check in" or going to the event page.
Let me know if you've found another method!
