Handling Reviewer Scores for Non-Archived Applications

Are there any institutions that do not archive their general and/or conditional applications during cycle management? If so, how do you handle reviewer scores? We went through our first awarding cycle and decided not to archive any applications or opportunities.

We have 2 cycles, spring,and fall. This time we did not archive spring since that cycle is so small. The thing that I noticed is that your rubric might have the old and new opportunity attached to it. What I did is uncheck the old one. I think that should still keep your scores for your past opportunity.  Also, I heard of other institutions,not archiving all. I am not sure if that is a wise thing to do. 

Hopefully,others have better suggestions.
