Adding Actions after mass emails sent from LO

Options

We are hoping to send out mass emails to our donor base from LO. Is there any way to have an action added to the constituent records of the recipients of those emails?

    When you send an email, it will show on the consistent record's interactions tab (special section called email interactions).

    If you're wanting the actions put into an external system, no easy way to do it at scale but you can export individual sends' delivery lists and then process the CSVs.

    Thanks for the info. When you refer to the Interactions tab, are you speaking about RENXT? or is this in the database view of RE. Just wondering as I cant seem to see that tab. Or perhaps its called something else.

    @Tyler Shaw For what purpose do you need the record of the interaction?

    As Jeremy said, the email will be included in the LO profile on the interactions tab.

    You can also use the Recipient Report of a specific email send to add all the recipients to an LO group, if you are pulling in the audience list from multiple different groups. Furthermore, you can use the features within LO email to include or exclude people who have already responded or not responded to a message in a campaign from being sent a different email in the campaign.

    We are hoping to use this functionality so that others in the organization can see what emails our donors have received. We are hoping the Relationship Managers are able to see what email communications their donors have received. I can not seem to find/see where the Interactions tab is located on either the webview in RENXT, or the constituent profile in database view. Any tips on where that is located?

    Interactions would be within individual Luminate constituent records. What kind of connector are you using to have LO talk to NXT?

    Ahh, thank you for the clarification on where that tab is located. I didnt realize you were meaning it was within LO. I'm hoping to see it somewhere in their RE record/profile.

    We use the RELO tool (Luminate On-line Plug in) for the systems to talk with one another.

    Yeah, that's a tricky one. RELO doesn't push email interactions over to RE, so you'd have to work out some sort of import process. If you've got a small send, best thing to do is use the report @Allison King mentioned to get a CSV, and then import into raisers edge as actions (and that'd mean additional work to turn the LO report into something RE can use).

    I realize that's an unsatisfying answer. That said, how many emails are we talking here? If you make one action per email, and then send 100 emails this year, you'd be adding an unmanageable number of actions to every constituent record, right?

    Another approach would be to just export contact details for people who belong to the groups you've used in luminate to send the email in the first place (report writer has an interaction report that can be filtered by c360 groups). Assuming you're not managing a roster of thousands of callers, you could even assign some manual actions in RE, and link to the individual CSVs in them.

    Again, not all that satisfying of answers here. If you can give us a bit more detail on the kind of scale and frequency you're talking, maybe we can come up with some other ideas.
