New to Power Automate - Any experts that want to help me walk through a couple of flows?

Options

Hello,

I'm new to power automate and took the BB class a few months ago. I am now finally finding time to create some flows for my team and cannot remember all the steps to complete the flows I need properly. I tried to sign up for the class again but there were no upcoming times available.

I have 2 different RE NXT databases I would need to set up the workflows on, and I have 2 workflows to set up for each. One to notify a gift officer of gifts coming in from his portfolio. The other is a new donor communications workflow with 7 steps and conditional logic.

If anyone is able to help me, please let me know. A teams call where you can walk me through it as I set it up would be amazing. I learn best by doing.

The 7 step workflow I'm most concerned with getting set up is as described below.

what you want to do is definitely do-able. Community can help guide you through your own work and as you hit issues, will help you solve it. Not sure who may be available to get on meetings and calls with you to directly getting you from A to Z though. There are Blackbaud partners who can do this given paid work.

@BrieAnna Clothier - Echoing Alex, the community is a great place to pose questions and get help as you work through building these flows. I also recommend joining the Power Automate user group as it's a place you can ask questions live and get crowdsourced solutions.

If this project ends up being too much, and you'd like to partner with an someone to build it for you - take a look at AutomateGenius. We have a team of RE NXT and Microsoft Power Automate exports that have helped many clients build custom automations.

  • @Austen Brown Thanks. I'll do some more research to see if I can get it going on my own and will ask questions if I get stuck. I was hopeful someone could walk me through it but that was me being naive; it makes sense I would have to pay for that sort of in depth help.
