Blackbaud NXT Letter flow

I'm trying to navigate through Power Automate since Blackbaud is discontinuing their connection with Microsoft Office. The problem I'm running into is that the few examples for setting up letters don't actually show how to make the flow. They require that you download templates but we don't use Outlook or Sharepoint (we use Gmail and Drive).

I can't figure out how to build the flow from scratch and I can't seem to change those options when I import a flow. Has anyone else set up an acknowledgement letter flow with NXT and Drive that can help?

    Hi Caitlin!

    Examples using the likes of Gmail and Google Drive are on our list of items to review for possible inclusion as example templates. We're pausing as we await updated Raiser's Edge NXT Connectors (the current one will still function) before publishing further examples. We're waiting with baited breath for Microsoft to approve those connectors.

    So does that mean I can't make flows using either Gmail or Drive right now? Are there step-by-step instructions that don't include uploading the flow? If I can build it myself, I'll do it but I can't find a workaround when using the templates.

    Hey Caitlin,

    We've been focusing primarily on the templates to get things going quicker for the most people so have not put together a step-by-step. We know you and others that may not have Sharepoint/OneDrive but still want to use Power Automate are anxious to get moving. We're working diligently in investigating what those options may be.

    We have a similar (although easier to use) platform for integratio - SmartSYNC and that does already work with both Microsoft and Google versions of email and drive storage. Let me know by PM if you want to know more.

    Yes! That sounds great--we need a solution before the end of the month when Blackbaud removes their connections to Office. Please send me more information on SmartSYNC when you get a chance.

    Just a slight correction - Rachel's link to the SmartSYNC app in the Marketplace includes an “envid” query parameter, which is an identifier for a specific Blackbaud customer “environment”. Only users will access to that environment will be able to use the link. The proper way to share a link is to omit that parameter, as in:

    We're considering adding a “Share” button or some similar functionality into the Marketplace to make this interaction a bit easier.
