Scheduled Standard Report export?

Options

I'm wondering if anyone has had success scheduling an NXT Standard Report & exporting the resulting PDF to a local file? I've managed to confuse myself in the connector…

  • @Nicole Holt
I tried scheduling a Batch Report export and found it only created the download of the pdf and notified those that I shared it with that it was available for download.

It would be more helpful if it actually emails the report to those that I shared it with.

Following this to see if anyone has had successful use of this feature. I would like to auto send a report on a daily basis.

I have not done this, but I imagine the process should be relatively similar to Query API.

    1. execute report job
    2. loop and check job completion
    3. get download link
    4. download and save file to SharePoint (can't be “local file” as flow doesn't have access to your “local drive”
  • @Alex Wong I tried that but didn't have much luck---that said, it wouldn't hurt for me to try it again when there are fewer distractions…

  • @Nicole Holt - Set it up as recurring in Power Automate, utilize the basic structure that Alex outlined. It's possible, I've done it.

  • @Austen Brown Aha! I was getting too complicated. Went back to basics and it works

And now that is one more thing checked of my monthly to-do list ?

  • Thanks to @Austen Brown and @Alex Wong I went into Power Automate with clear eyes.
Sharing this solution in case it is helpful for others.
