Can pre registered participants do a self check-in utilizing a QR code?

    @Julie Salzman Hi Julie, I see this is an older question, so you've likely got it sorted by now, but I saw no one had answered. No, this isn't available in NXT. You would likely need a third-party tool to do that, and then bring that data back into NXT.

    Aldera is right that RE NXT by default does not have this capability.

    3rd party tool does exist, but you need to import/export from that 3rd party tool.

    you can also build this “QR code scan and checkin” using SKY API and SKY Add-in. I am have built this before as a disconnected tool, and is in midst of building it that is directly integrated with RE NXT data, no import/export needed.

    I also know some Blackbaud partner is in midst of buliding (or already done) it as an app that connect to RE NXT.

    So possibilty is there, just not from Blackbaud by default in RE NXT.

    As Alex mentions below, we (AppsNXT) is the Blackbaud partner about to release the ability to check In via QR Codes with our Check In tool, already available on the Blackbaud Marketplace.     As an update, this is available now. Our add-in will generate and email QR codes to your participants (either in bulk or individually) and our volunteer friendly Check In tool now has the ability to use your phone/tablet camera to scan those codes in.

    Here are a couple of screenshots from the mobile version of the check in tool. (One is showing the list, the other is showing scanning a QR code)
