PBI Gift Split Query is Pulling in All Package IDs

Options

Hello! My PBI Gift Split query is pulling in every Package ID for the gift appeal into the data, when the data in RE does not have one selected/is null. For Example:

This is my PBI Gift Split Query:

cd3ce1e851e1ea8e4ba2ba9fcf64cece-huge-im

This is the corresponding gift in RE:

  • I included the drop-down to show that this gift does not have a package selected, but the two available options are still being pulled into the PBI Gift Split query.
  • I believe this is causing my PowerBI to double count this gift (and same for all others of this appeal with no package selected)

Is there a way to fix this in Query or within PowerBI? I am wondering if maybe I should pull Package into my PBI Gift query instead? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

You are likely not outputting the correct “Package ID".

the red circle Package section (and the subsequent Package ID you found in there, is the Package that is available to the Appeal, NOT the Package that is selected for the gift (green circle).

  • @Alex Wong that was the issue! Thank you!
