Hello, We use Add-Ins to create our letters and it will not let me create them. It gives me the error of 502. I have tried several browsers and get the same error. Can someone please help me.

  • @Kim Macoubrie- this usually means there is something wrong with the Power Automate flow that is connected to the Add In. Did you create the flow? If so, you need to look at the flow and it usually will tell you the last run failed and you need to look in that run to see what error it is saying.

  • @Carol Grant Thank you so much. I did not create the flow. I don't know where to start to look. Do you know where I could look?

@Kim Macoubrie - Reach out to your boss and potentially IT to inquire about this. Power Automate's RE NXT connectors are premium and require a special Microsoft license. The user that has this license, is likely the same one that built/manages the flow.

  • @Austen Brown That would have been the former employee that is no longer here. She thought she had all transferred to me. How do I go about looking for that?

@Kim Macoubrie - When you say ‘transfer’ what do you mean?

Go to https://make.powerautomate.com/ > My Flows. Check under both the “Cloud Flows” and “Shared with me” tabs, are the flows related to this process visible?

In PA, flow availability boils down to who built/created it first. If the original owner's account (your former colleague's account) was inactivated or removed, then the flow does not exist anymore. That would explain why the button in RE is now failing. A way around this would be to export the flows from the old account and import them into yours (or a service account), and then reconnect them to the button in WV.
