Salutation in foreign language

Is it possible to use a PowerApp to display in NXT a constituent salutation in a foreign language? And they use that field in a PowerAutomate word merge?

@Carla Murphy - Can you elaborate a bit more on the outcome you're looking for? In an ideal world, what would be displayed in Web View?

@Austen Brown - we need to see a salutation in the Ukrainian language like Шановні пане і пані Адам that will be used in the powerautomate tax letter merge. I tried pasting the salutation into a salutation field in RE, but it doesn't like it so I'm trying to figure out if we can use a powerapp to display this in NXT.

Unfortunatelly, RE does not support UNICODE characters, so you cannot store these foreign name into RE.

the only way to do this is to put that information somewhere else. You don't need a PowerApp (waste of license unless all your staff already have it).

One way to do this is to store the information in SharePoint list, SharePoint excel for example, using the constituent system record id as the connecting dot. But you will need to code “all” parts of functionality for this:

• Load and Display
  • this you can create an Adaptive Card to display the name from the sharepoint
  • this name will not be usable with any default funcionality of RE NXT (email, list, etc) so you will need to code mailing list, email list separately that will bring in the foreign name from the sharepoint list
• Edit and Save
  • you can use the same Adaptive Card in the load and dispaly above, but add a button to do editing, and when edited, save into the SharePoint list.

I am going to try this now. I have not used Adaptive cards before - can you point me to some documentation that might help?

I just want to display the foreign salutation, that resides in sharepoint in excel with the constituentid, in an NXT tile so that the users can use it if they want to. The database person has a separate routine to use vlookup to pull it in from the excel file for mailings.
