Repeating Letter Dynamic content

I have a powerautomate flow that is producing acknowledgement letters. The flow first produces the individual letter and then it appends an array to produce a single file with all of the letters together for easy printing. The single letters are merging nicely. The repeating letter is producing the word file with all of the letters, however the dynamic content fields are not merging in.

The same letter template is being used for both of these actions. In the flow run, I can see that the dynamic content fields are working in the letter array.

The repeating envelope works perfectly.

The one thing that I noticed in the flow is that the Populate a Microsoft Word template - repeating envelope has the word Envelope before the EnvelopeArray, but for the repeating letter, instead of the word Letter, I see a string of numbers, so the repeating letter is not recognizing the letter array fields. What could be missing….

did you download and imported someone else's flow template? If you did, did you follow all the instructions?

the “odd number” is referring to the word template's field that you are populating. So first is, go open up the file specified in the Populate a Microsoft Word template - repeating letter action and see if the merge field is available in the document (473878195). I find it odd that it is some random number, so I don't know if you (or whoever created the word template file) specifically call the merge field this number.

@Carla Murphy This is a great idea. Would you be willing to share the flow you built? I just learned Power Automate and have wanted to explore how to further automate acknowledgment letters for the org.
