Coupon or discount code for event registration

Hello,

Does anyone know if you can add a coupon or discount code in the RE event registration form? We have ticket prices set, but we'd like to give certain people a discount code to take a set dollar amount off of each ticket selected. Is that possible? Thank you for your help!

@Kathryn Dake - If you're doing this through RE NXT, create an additional form with the discounted registration fees. Instead of embedding it in a webpage, share the URL link directly with those constituents that are eligible for the discount.

RE NXT event regsitration does not have default ability to do coupon code.

First, you have to do what Austen said, since registration form requires each price level to be setup first, meaning if your ticket is $100, and coupon code is 20% off, then you must setup a $100 ticket price and a $80 discounted ticket price. Then create 2 separate registration form like Austen said and distribute the discount form separately.

However, if you got webdev team that you can rely on, you can “embed both” registration form onto the event webpage. Put a “discount code” field with a “apply discount code” button, when correct discount code is entered, the registration form with the discounted price will be shown rather than the normal priced one. (not going to go too deep, but this “can be flawed” depending on if you going to do client-side discount code validation or server-side discount code validation).

RENXT event registrations do not currently support discount codes, but Austen's suggestion is a good alternative.
