I am new in RE NXT, but have now set up a couple of events for our school. The event forms seem to be working well for selling tickets and sponsorships, but we need to do a pretty basic auction set up as well. From what I can tell, this is not possible directly in Raisers Edge - is that correct? We would like to have auction donors integrated into the system so they get the proper letters and receipts. Most of the other auction platforms I have found are pricey and they also have a lot of overlap with what RE can already do.

Is there an option that anyone has used that will integrate with RE but does not cost a huge amount (or is, ideally, free!) ?

    @Amanda Polson You can enter the auction donors in RE and send receipts, but the challenge would be if you're trying to process the payments at the event itself. How many people do you anticipate making purchases? Would it be sustainable to use a RE NXT giving page for your checkout?

    I've been running the tech for silent auctions for my org for many years.

    This research is a few years old at this point, but the only integrated tool I found was Event Give (through the marketplace). We didn't like the limitations.

    The simplest tool out there - in my opinion - is 32auctions. It's not integrated, but you'll have a good experience. Following what Christine suggested, 32auctions will also let you process transactions elsewhere so you could do a NXT giving page or MobilePay setup.

    When we needed to upgrade from 32auctions, we moved into Greater Giving. I consider Greater Giving to be the best-in-class tool. I export/import transactions into a RE batch in the days/weeks after the event.
