Automating Combining Constituent Lists

Hi all,

I'm hoping you all can point me in the right direction with a process I'd like to automate. My organization has 20 regional offices with their own local e-newsletter audience. The e-newsletter audiences are sent to three NXT Constituent lists which have to be manually combined before each send. These are as follows:

1. NXT Geographic radius search (live 50 miles from our local office)
2. Have the local Fundraiser as assigned solicitor, or
3. Current member or Board or Staff constituent codes

We'd like to automate the process of combining these NXT lists since it gets quite cumbersome to combine the lists for all 20 local sites. Is this something we could use PowerAutomate for (and does anyone have a flow I can copy or build off of to get started)?

Should we look into getting the Queue module to assist? I was worried that Queue wouldn't be able to help since one of our NXT lists is a radius search, which can't easily be replicated in the database view.

First of all, automation is maybe the last option. Question: are you sending using RE NXT email module (my org does not use this module so I don't know if it is capable or not to do the combining). We use Luminate Onlline and it's easy to send email to more than 1 group without needing to “combine” first. So I guess check that first

If automate, there is a way for you to automatically generate a new list from multiple list. The basic idea would be to “read” from the existing lists, which will return all the constituent records in each lists, then use this API endpoints to create a new list, and add all the constituents in the existing lists into the newly created list:

@Alex Wong - Thanks for your response. We do use the NXT Email Marketing tool, which doesn't allow for adding multiple lists to an email prior to deployment. We have been using the Add/Exclude tool within NXT lists to refresh the joined lists manually prior to each send.

I'll take a look at the resources you sent. This might be above my skill level.
