Event Participant Options as Merge Fields in NXT Email

I would like to send a reminder email to event registrants with their event participant options as merge fields in the email (bid card #, table #, starting hole for golf events etc). We have this info recorded for them in the event module but these fields are not merge fields available when creating an email template in NXT Marketing Emails. This functionality isn't there and I have added to the Idea Bank, but does anyone have a workaround that you can share, to get this info to guests electronically, rather than handing out paper cards to everyone at registration check in at the event?

@Patty Driscoll My suggested workaround would be to create query of the event registrants in db view or list saved to db from webview, set up an export with all the participant options as fields using that query and export to a csv. Use the csv to do a merged email through your email platform.

Thanks @JoAnn Strommen. Unfortunately while most email platforms can do this, our email platform is RENXT which only sends emails from NXT Lists as far as I can see. ?

@Patty Driscoll correct, I mean to use the csv file with your outlook or google email.

Our development officers will do this frequently. Take a list of their prospects, merge and send an email that then comes from their personal address.

@JoAnn Strommen - unfortunately won't work for us. We only have Outlook and our Network IT restricts us to 50 email addresses or less at one time. These emails would be going to upwards of 500 event attendees, so that would be way too time consuming to send. Still searching for alternate options….

Other than what have been mentioned, the only other option is to go custom with SKY API and SKY Add-in.

It is possible to create a SKY Add-in that allow customized email to be created and sent out to particpant via Power Automate. Not going to go too deep into it unless there's appetite to go this route.

There are also Blackbaud partners that can be contracted to do the custom work for you if you want to pay for the service. This really depends on how important is this business needs to your org.
