New to Events in RE - How do you do a Walk through the Event form???

Hello! New to RENXT and the Event Mod.

Was hoping there is another org out there that does Walk sign ups through the online event form and could show me what you do!?

ALso, will be using this for a Golf Tournament and a Social Event too!

All help and examples are welcomed! THANK YOU!

    @Kelly Thayer I've not used Events since just before the pandemic, so not any help with newer stuff. I will say, though, that it is very user-friendly. Just make sure to text things before they are published.

    @Kelly Thayer welcome to the world of NXT! My organization, an all girls' private high school, has done a walk but we did not do sign-ups for it through our database. So I cannot speak specifically to that side.

    However, I have transitioned from using Online Express to the NXT donation and event forms, thanks to Complete Cover. I am pushing our organization to utilize NXT for each event we have, minus the student side of things. As @Sharon Sandberg mentioned, the steps are user-friendly.

    Blackbaud is great with sharing documentation. Specific to online registration forms, you can find some helpful information here. The database side of things is a little more detailed, but I have found you still need to get into DB view at times to handle certain situations (like linking gifts to registration fees). You can find the Event Management Guide under their Raiser's Edge Documentation.

    What I ended up doing was really just playing with things. Create a dummy event that you don't have to worry about and see what different options will do. It's easy to share the form to your web site when it's ready. And even if you update the form once it's shared on your web site, any changes you make are automatically updated to the form. You don't need to copy a new link or anything. This has been super helpful for me, as I always seem to need to go in and adjust something.
