Campaign & Fund Description in Email Digest

Has anyone been successful nesting apply to each loops to allow for displaying both the fund description and the campaign description in an email digest? I cannot seem to get the proper set-up here and as I try to layer in campaign description it continues to error out. Screenshot below:

The same discussion will apply to Campaign Description.
