Does anyone currently successfully manage multi-tiered event registrations such as a reunion using one Online Express registration form or one form in the new RE NXT event registration functional area? Everything I'm seeing online says it's impossible and/or the functionality does not exist in either product/area. An Idea Bank entry from 2016 requesting the functionality for OLX has hundreds of votes and voting is still open. If you use a third-party vendor product to do this, what do you use?

I think for multiple events you would need to have multiple events in RE. One way I have used it is to have them register for the total and then have a comment box or as to which specific parts and then you can separate out into the specific smaller events. Another option would be to have different tickets for each event but all in one event module and so then based on which tickets they purchased is which events they are attending.

I too am very interested in this. We're planning our first in person reunion in June, and I want to maximize available resources. I still have lots of questions, but can share the following.

When creating the new event in the database, not NXT, this article suggests using Reunion as the group, with each activity as an event, linked to the Reunion group. See general tab of event. I had been approaching it as the entire reunion being the event.

This next article talks about how to register for more than one event in a group, but it's all done manually. I'm hoping for a way to be able to use NXT for one registration that will include all activities.

Despite watching webinars and reading everything I can, many questions remain. Please anyone who has experience with this chime in and share your best practice.

If you want to have 1 MAIN event as Reunion, you can set participant options in NXT to drill down specific areas, for example Friday BBQ, Saturday Dance, Sunday Picnic could be participant options and they can multi-select from the List. If you need to charge for each part your ticket price could be "Full Weekend $X, Friday ony, Sat only, Sun only, etc.

@Evan Greene I am not the one who handles the events personally but I know we tried for a couple years to use BB events, and it was cumbersome and hard on the user and web manager. This year we went to rsvpify and are currently using it for 2 events - a golf outing and a multi-tiered reunion weekend. I hear the users love it, and it's much easier to sign up, pay, etc. I have not found the back end to be better, but they are still learning how to run reports. Part of that is there are limited sign-ins, so I cannot view or pull the data myself.

Do you have rsvpify integrated with NXT so the data flows automatically onto records? Are you willing to share how they invoice / what the subscription fee is like for your organization? We also struggle with BB Events module.

@Katie Rusak - Hi - we do not have it integrated, but that does not necessarily mean it can't be. I was not part of choosing the product nor do I have access to it, as I said. I was told they just uploaded names and emails for invites to be sent out, but I"m wondering if there is the capability to also upload constituent id's (like on GiveCampus) so the import is simpler. So at this point I will be using imports to get the information into RE. Another case where I wish I would have been in on the discussions earlier.

@Katie Rusak My understanding is the contract is based on number of emails - whether that is how many are sent or how many actual rsvp's are collected I do not know.
