Total Giving in FY

Using the Gift Notification template provided by Blackbaud. Would like to add to the gift digest the total amount each donor in the flow gave during the current FY (we run from July to June). Does anyone know if this is possible or can direct me toward how to code this?

Hi Amanda! I have done something like this by setting up a variable for “Total”, then using the “Increment variable” action with the gift amounts. The “Apply to each 2” will then add each gift amount to the variable giving you a grand total. Your “List gifts” criteria will include the Constituent ID and the date range under advanced options. Take a look at the screenshot below and let me know if it makes sense. (It's using the old connector but the “List” actions will also be in the new Constituent and Gift connectors.)
