Events - Golf Tournament

Has anyone used the “Events” feature in RE NXT for a golf tournament? I have personally never used the Events feature. Am I able to create a donation/registration form that ties to the event?

We run all of our events, including golf tournaments, through RENXT. You can create an online registration form that includes an additional donation from the event record. Before creating the online form, you will need to set up the fees in the event record.

@Carrie Aranda in using the events registration forms, how do you register foursomes? We have a unit for Foursome and a sponsorship for Foursome and they do not allow the addition of guests to the host when registering.

@Tineke Hage - There currently is not a way to do this through NXT forms yet. Almost all of our events are corporate sponsorships/foursomes and they pay us before sending in golfer names. Our events team follows up with foursome/sponsors to get their names and then we data enter them into the event as guests. Not the best set up but it is our current workaround and it fits with how we have always handled them in the past. For one of our smaller tournaments, we used a custom field on the event record to capture the golfer names and then transferred that information over. Again, not a great solution but we have made it work.
